Hotel

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa

Due February 15th

To reserve rooms at the hotel where Nikki & Kevin will stay, please contact the reservations department at 800.843.6664 or make reservations online here.

If the room block is full, or if the type of room you require (e.g. two queen beds) is unavailable, please send us an email at us@bunniwolf.com.  The standard room (which is very nice) runs around $289/night all in.

For any other issues, the group reservation coordinator, Nicole Lightfoot, can be reached at nicole.lightfoot@omnihotels.com or 760.804.7484, when she’s not visiting her home in the Shire.

Ground Transportation

We recommend cruising down Highway 101 in a 2020 Tesla Roadster, but if you don’t have one on hand, there’s a number of options.

Uber / Lyft: Rideshares from San Diego International Airport to Encinitas cost approximately $40 each way during low traffic times.  Prices may, of course, vary, and “surge pricing” during high traffic could cost as much as double the base fare.  Most trips between event venues within Encinitas cost $10 to $15.

Car Rental: If you rent a car in San Diego or L.A., your reservation at the Omni La Costa includes complimentary self-park.  Do not use the valet service, or you will be charged $30 a day. You can leave your car overnight at the San Diego Botanic Gardens on Saturday night, if necessary.

Air Travel

We recommend flying into San Diego. The drive time to Encinitas, in good traffic, is about half an hour.

You can also fly into Los Angeles. The drive time is estimated at an hour and a half. However, I have no trust for California traffic, and for all we know, it will take you two days. Only a local can really tell you and, even then, it’s only a guess.

Consider booking your airfare ASAP! March is spring break in a lot of places, and prices could rise as the event date draws closer.
